We will be meeting the second Friday of the month, May 14 7-9:30. It will be our last meeting before taking a summer break for June, July and Aug.
The video is QUANTUM Communication, Part 2 , which is 1 1/4 hours. If you missed part 1 last month, I think you would still find part 2 worthwhile. Topics include: unleashing the powers of your mind; vision, insight, physics, telepathy, creation.

Hello IONS video group folks,
We are going to stick with the second Friday of the month in April for our next get together. That’s April 9th.

The next IONS video group is scheduled for Friday 3-12-10 from 7-9:30 pm.

Hello video groupies,
The next IONS video group is scheduled for Friday 2-12-10 from 7-9:30 pm.
The video will be “Something Unknown Is Doing We Don’t Know What…A Fascinating Spiritual Journey Into the Science Behind Psychic Phenomena”.
“Is it possible that some people can read your mind? (telepathy )or look into the future (clairvoyance). Why is it that some people can cure themselves while in the last stages of a deadly cancer? (healing). Does mind over matter really exist, and if so, how do we explain this?
(telekinesis). In the US millions of people claim to “see” something? And where is the boundary between ‘real’ magical powers and fraud? Can these ‘miracles of the mind’ be explained? These and more questions will be answered in this quirky film documentary.”
There are a number of IONS personalities that are in this video. It is 104 minutes long. We may decide to break this up into 2 sessions so we can spend more time with discussion.

Happy New Year to all!
Following our month off in Dec. I hope you are ready for a video get together in Jan.
The Phoenix Sun speaker is scheduled for Sun. Jan 10, the topic Synchronicity, speaker Keith Varnum ( refer to www.ionsphoenix.org for more information).
Because of the change in date from the 3rd Sun. to the 2nd Sun. in Jan. I am suggesting that the video group meet on Fri. Jan 15 at 7:00- 9:30 at my house.
The video will be Candace Pert, PhD speaking on Emotions: The Key to the Body, Mind, Spirit Connection. (Some of you will recognize her from What the Bleep)
With a PhD in Pharmacology, Dr. Pert held a variety of research positions with the National Institutes of Health, and served as Chief of the Section on Brain Biochemistry of the Clinical Neuroscience Branch of the NIMH. She then founded and directed a private biotech laboratory.
Dr. Pert is an internationally recognized pharmacologist who has published over 250 scientific articles on peptides and their receptors and the role of these neuropeptides in the immune system. her earliest work as a researcher involved the discovery of opiate receptors and the actions of receptors. She has an international reputation in the filed of neuropeptide and receptor pharmacology and chemical neuroanatomy. Dr. Pert has also lectured worldwide on emotions and mind-body communication.
Her book, Molecules of Emotion: Why You Feel the Way You Feel, expounds on her research and theories. She holds a number of patents for modified peptides in the treatment of psoriasis, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, stroke and head trauma. One of these, peptide T, is currently undergoing research for the treatment of AIDS and neuroAIDS

We had a great evening despite tome technical difficulties last Fri, Oct 9. We had planned to see another Bruce Lipton presentation, however, the disc turned out to be faulty. We chose to watch Peter Russell’s The Global Brain. It prompted some very interesting conversation.
Our next video gathering is Nov. 6, Fri, 7-9:00. As the group is evolving, it may be that 2 hours is not enough. I would like to keep punctual for our starting time but am willing to extend the evening to between 9:30 and 10:00. Of course anyone can leave earlier. We can see how that evolves.
Harriet, one of our group members was able to provide a copy of The Living Matrix (which many learned about at the last IONS Conference that took place in Tucson this past summer). I just finished watching it and highly recommend it.
If there are no strong objections, I propose this video for our next gathering. It is about 75 minutes long.

Hello everyone,
We had a very inspiring evening Fri. watching Bruce Lipton present on From Belief to Heredity, followed by lively discussion. There were close to 20 people in attendance.
