Scott Schaefer – Native American Flute – 2:30-4:30 March 7, 2010.
Posted on 03 March 2010
Join us for a wonderful excursion into the magical tones of the Native American flute Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 2:30 to 4:30.
In the spring of 2003, Scott purchased his first music instrument in the form of a Native American flute and began what is often referred to as a flute journey. Little did he know at the time, this incredible musical instrument would send him on a journey that would change his life forever.
While Scott primary instrument is the Native American Flute, you will find that his style is more in line with World Music rather than Native American style music. Scott musical journey has given him exposure to exotic instruments from the four corners of the world that he has taught himself to play with an impressive degree of proficiency. He incorporates these rarely heard instruments into his performances along with his flutes. His knowledge and stories about each of these instruments magically transcends the audience on a world tour.
The passion you hear in Scott’s music comes from his heart and has been deep and heartfelt musical menagerie. Scott can be seen performing weekly at the Sheraton Desert Oasis in Scottsdale and Cave Creek Villas in Cave Creek.
Scott’s music can be found here.
- This event will be held at the Mustang Library , 10101 N 90th St. Scottsdale, AZ 85258. Please feel free to invite friends and family. Suggested donation $5-$10.
